Salvatore Trigila #1255 ‘Irises’

This beautifully executed impressionistic work depicts perfectly the movement of the irises. The artist has captured the pulse and energy of the irises by manipulating brush, pigment and colour with great bravery alternating crisp strokes with softer areas. Tonal quality is good with analogous colour scheme. The shapes and composition are good rather than literally described.
