Welcome to the Kilmore Art Expo

The Kilmore Art Expo 2024 will be the 16th year of this highly regarded annual regional art show. It is a joint venture between the Rotary Club of Southern Mitchell and the Kilmore Art Society Inc. and showcases a range of quality paintings, sculpture, photography and digital art. The Kilmore Art Expo is known for having a wide and generous range of awards in many categories. View, enjoy and buy artwork over the 3 days.

Preview night on Friday, April 12th opens the Exhibition from 6:30 pm. See the award-winning art, meet the artists and enjoy live music, wonderful food, drink and enjoyable company. A variety of delicious food is on offer for purchase during Saturday 13th 10.00am-4.00pm and Sunday 14th 10.00am-3.30pm. Buy a glass of wine to drink while you peruse the displays. Don’t forget to vote for the work you like the best as the top vote-getter receives the “People’s Choice Award”.

The celebration of the art, history and culture of Kilmore continues for the whole weekend. Listen to the bagpipe player outside the Memorial Hall. Walk down Sydney Street on Saturday and experience a variety of talented performance/busking artists competing in the Kilmore Regional Busking Championships. Vote for your favourite and then head off to Kilmore Trackside for a free concert by the winners in the Busking Finals Concert from 4:30-6:30pm.

The Kilmore Art Society was established in 1988 and has its home in a historical building in Kilmore, the oldest inland town in Victoria.

Kilmore Art Society Inc. is a not for profit organisation. Our mission is to foster and develop the spirit of professional and hobby artists in reaching their goals in all forms of art. To educate and enrich present and future generations on the importance of art exhibitions, selling of artworks and charitable connections within the Kilmore community. The Society work cooperatively and positively with other groups and institutions in the community.
