ARTIST BIO

John  Clarke is a wateercolourist living in Gisborne in the Macedon Ranges.

He studied under internationally respected watercolour artist, David Taylor, for four years.

His work has been exhibited in various galleries and in many shows, where he has received numerous awards.

John enjoys trying to capture the sensitivity and emotion of sky and water in particular.

Subject matter is found mainly in Australia.  However,  Italy, and especially Venice,  provide both fascination and inspiration.
