ARTIST NOTES: Murchison Gap Foggy Sunrise Named after John Murchison an original squatter of one of the three original squatting runs in the district Murchison Gap lookout overlooks the Valley of 1000 Hills – a very beautiful name, for a very beautiful, picturesque place. The lookout at the top of the spur has been developed by the Mitchell Shire in the last two decades and provides a good vantage point looking down into the Strath Creek valley. As the weather turns cooler with winter approaching it's not uncommon for fog to settle in the Strath Creek Valley in the early mornings in mid May I took this shot with the sun just poking up above the horizon. This Photo is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic Paper with archival quality Inks. I frame my works myself using Australian Hardwoods. Prices are for Mountain Ash but other timbers are available subject to what I can get from my suppliers A limited edition of 10 prints only will be created This is print 2 of 10 Price is for pick up only but if you'd like this work freighted please contact me at john.rapley@gmail.com to discuss options
